Working collaboratively with other Analysts to scope out the project, providing technical leadership during the design phase, and supporting the project rollout. In addition, this position will aid the function lead by playing a technical and project delivery role when implementing these new solutions. With responsibility for improving the efficiency, reliability, and quality of M&S data. You will be assigned to various projects and procedures such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipeline processes, UAT, data quality, and data governance. Your main responsibility is to align the Tech, Data, and Development teams to help achieve the overall SC&L strategy.

This role is based in our Paddington Support Centre in London, and you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Create innovative data-driven solutions to address business inquiries
  • Proficiently integrate data through the use of Python and SQL to develop robust data solutions, while using Power BI to generate and present visual outcomes. Crafting high-quality presentations that effectively articulate sophisticated concepts to non-technical partners
  • Skilled in data modelling, with a focus on future-proofing and governance processes such as data stewardship
  • Supporting ETL process that drive our data to support the business
  • Using your technical skill to support UATs, ensuring the data is robust and a high enough standard to be acceptable to the business


Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach, with the ability to gather, interpret, and gain insights from large amounts of data
  • Scoping, designing, and delivery of reporting/BI solutions
  • Developing analytical models in SQL and Python
  • Data visualization, particularly in Power BI and SAP Business Objects
  • ETL, governance & UAT/data quality standard processes with an eye for detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity
