Lead data governance projects as a Chief Data Office Support Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a top global financial firm.

Job Summary :

As a Chief Data Office – Governance Project Execution Support Associate within the Corporate Investment Banking Chief Data Office, you will be unlocking value for our stakeholders through the timely delivery of high-quality, compliant data. You will be a part of the Strategic Execution team for Chief Data Office Governance, responsible for the oversight of program/project planning and execution, policy/standard requirements implementation planning and execution, and facilitating the assessment of new tactical and strategic demands impacting data governance. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Corporate Investment Banking data pillar teams and Control Management to maintain project standards and partner on the implementation of data requirements.

The CIB Chief Data Office (CDO) is a business-centric organization whose purpose is to unlock value for our stakeholders through timely delivery of high-quality, compliant data. The CIB CDO oversees the overall strategy and execution of the CIB data agenda. The Strategic Execution team for CDO Governance is responsible for oversight of the program/project planning and execution; policy/standard requirements implementation planning and execution; facilitating the assessment of new tactical and strategic demands impacting data governance
The team works closely with the CIB data pillar teams (Data Use; Data Quality; Data Storage; Data Protection; Retention & Destruction; Data Governance) and Control Management to maintain project standards and partner on implementation of data requirements.  The Project Execution Support role calls for a candidate to support multiple initiatives while partnering across global teams and regularly collaborating throughout the organization

Job responsibilities

  • Support key project governance and leadership forums by creating / coordinating inputs such as organizational priorities & accomplishments; business reviews; Objectives & Key Results (OKR) reporting
  • Manage multiple monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc deliverables on status reporting from identification to completion by coordinating across the team
  • Coordinate project book of work-related materials, reporting, and communications to meet stakeholder needs
  • Identify and act upon opportunities for efficient use of materials / project tools to solve for multiple requests

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience including project management support; financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with partners to extract information and accurately summarize for stakeholders to consume
  • Demonstrated proficiency / intermediate skills using PowerPoint and Excel
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to work independently but not alone, in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills across platforms – emails, presentations, documentation
