We are currently recruiting for a Data Administrator to join our team in Restart. The key purpose of the role will be supporting the Serco Employment Skills and Enterprise Quality & Compliance Team to ensure the accurate transfer of data to and from DWP and Serco systems following rigorous compliance testing.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Taking inbound calls from Job Centre Plus Work Coaches and booking participants in for Warm Hand over meetings
  • Processing of key referral, programme start and payment data via the DWP’s PRaP system
  • Transfer of data between Serco systems and PRaP while maintaining data integrity
  • Identification, investigation and resolution of data processing errors, escalating to the Quality and Compliance Team Leader where necessary.
  • Completion of quality and compliance testing on key programme milestones and evidence to support contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the wider Quality and Compliance Team in maintaining contract compliance by ensuring accuracy of data submission within contractual timeframes
  • Carry out reasonable management requests to support the business as required   

 

What I need to do the role?

Essential

  • Strong IT skills with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Office 365 software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of work streams
  • Confident to communicate through a variety of media with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use own initiative and work independently
  • Organised and work to fixed deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy with an attention to detail
  •  Follow procedures accurately and reliably
  • Presents a professional image
  • Maintain confidentiality

 

This role requires a enhanced DBS and BPSS to be completed covering pre-employment checks:

  • identity
  • employment history (minimum of 3 years)
  • nationality/immigration status
  • criminal records

 

Desirable

  • Understanding of DWP/welfare to work market environment
  • Experience of working in a compliance environment ideally within the Employability sector
  •  Experience of CRM based systems
  •  Experience of the DWP’s Provider Payments and Referral System (PRaP)
