We’re looking for a Data Analyst with a background in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics to join our Product Quality and Performance team, based in Cambridge, UK. This team helps the business understand trends in Versius usage and performance and provides robust data to guide business decisions by transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days a week being based in our Cambridge office with occasional days in Ely.

Responsibilities

• Using and developing data collection processes.
• Integrating customer and product data from different platforms.
• Gathering and documenting end user reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Creating and documenting relationships between data and develop multidimensional data models.
• Developing visualizations to present data, creating reports and supporting users with them.
• Developing and validating reports and dashboards to analyse and track key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics for monitoring the health of the business, department, product, or processes.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, updating dashboards to meet users’ needs.
• Monitoring KPIs, identifying trends and insights from data and reporting to relevant stakeholders to aid decision-making.
• Help answer a broad range of data analysis requests, using product, customer and business process data, and communicate your findings.
• Contribute to improving the team’s processes and practices.

We’re a rapidly developing company and roles can change and evolve. You’ll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Data and Quality team remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

• Experience of performing DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Familiarity pulling data from Salesforce and Jira.
• Familiarity with data querying and transformation.
• A solid understanding of statistics fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Desirable familiarity data warehouse development using Databricks.
• Prior experience as a data analyst, data engineer or business intelligence analyst.
• Experience working with Power BI and the DAX programming language.
