What would you do as our Data Business Analyst? 

As our Data Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Operations and Finance Directors across the Traka group to ensure data integrity, migration and reporting across our business application software. This will be focused on SAP S4 Hana /MDM but also integrated to other business platforms, you will also collaborate with the central Global Solutions Data Analytics team.


You would also:

  •   With the support and collaboration of the Project One teams, work to ensure all master data is aligned with the requirements determined by MDM as well as work with users and Project One support teams to investigate any data breeches /conflicts.
  •   Collaborates with One Data architects using tools like Power BI and ODBC, actively promoting standard reports and managing requests for new reports and enhancements. Facilitates the implementation of visual management via Triple play and monitors across the site, working closely with IT and users. Engages with Department Managers to produce and develop reports aligned with their specific requirements for visual management output on each monitor.
  •  Provide training & documentation to support the business users in ensuring that all staff are trained and competent in using and interpreting the dashboards & reports. Maintain, develop, and provide day to day support for SAP commercial documentation (P/O’s, S/O’s etc) based upon Standard Group templates.
  •  Work closely with Operations Director and Project One team to develop integrations including but not limited to Service Max, Salesforce, and the chosen PLM platform.
  • Work closely with the Project One ERP team and Operations/Finance User groups, to support data migration and reporting requirements for other Traka group SAP roll outs.
  •  Identify business problem, conducting extensive business analysis to come up effective solution to bring business insight and to improve data management processes and strategies together with Project One and analytics teams

The skills and experience you need: 

We are looking for someone who:

  •    Has a good understanding of modern database structures Is familiar with database reporting tools such as Power BI and is keen to learn others
  •  Is able to work at speed in a fast-changing environment
  • Ideally has experience in SAP S/4 Hana or other similar tier one ERP system
  • Must have a knowledge of manufacturing industries
  • Analytical and methodical professional with strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal), critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates effective liaising abilities with various teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and takes accountability for business situations, delivering insightful results and solutions
